Challenge
A small roastery was selling mostly through markets; online orders spiked then dropped because subscribers had no reason to stay engaged between bags.
Solution
We paired Shopify’s subscription APIs with a custom theme layer for storytelling, automated email hooks for grind preferences, and a simple loyalty cue (stamps) shown in the customer account.
Results
Higher repeat rate on the pilot cohort, clearer merchandising for seasonal lots, and less manual intervention on subscription changes.
